Here earlier? Early check-in from 11:00 is possible on request if rooms are free: 59,00 € per room. You can then use the drinks station from 11:00 and help yourselves to the lunch snack from 12:00. Just let us know beforehand on 09972 9500 or by e-mail to info@sonnenhotel-bayerischerhof.de.
Please check out by 10:00 on the day you leave.
Not done with your holiday yet? Late check-out until 15:00 is possible on request if it works out: 59,00 € per room, with lunch snack from 12:00 and the drinks station until 15:00. Just ask at reception.
You pay the bill at the start of your stay. Cash, debit card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
Reception is staffed daily from 07:00 to 20:00, the cash desk until 19:30. After that, the service team is happy to help.
From 23:00 to 06:00 there are no staff in the building. What to do then is under “Emergency”.
The side entrances are closed from 22:00 to 07:00. You can always get out, but you can only get in through the main entrance – it opens with your room card at any time.
Waldmünchen is a health resort and charges a daily visitor's tax:
- Adults: 1,30 €
- Children aged 6–17: 0,50 €
- Children under 6 and people with a disability of 70 % or more: free (necessary companions pay half)
You pay it here with us and get your guest card for your whole stay.

The drinks station is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00, beer and wine from 10:00. Soft drinks, water, draught beer, house wine, coffee specialities and juices – just help yourselves. No extra charge.
Water, still and sparkling, is available around the clock. The kids have their own drinks tap.
Pool area & sauna
Your room card opens the pool area.

The pool is a non-swimmers' pool, 1,20 m deep. Please follow the usual hygiene rules.
Available at reception:
- Bathrobe: 5,00 € cleaning fee

- Pool slippers to take home: 1,50 €
For families
Activities for children aged 3 to 12: climbing wall, pirate ship, kids' cinema. Plus trips to the Perlsee, crafts with natural materials, T-shirt painting and kids' disco. And you? Enjoy a coffee in peace.
With children aged 0 to 3 you automatically have access. Nappies and swim nappies are available there too (0,75 € each).
Baby cot, children's bed, high chair, child toilet seat, baby bath, buggy, sippy cup, step stool, potty, nappy bin and changing mat – we lend them to you for your stay, while stocks last. Just ask at reception.
Your room
Your room is cleaned every other day. An extra clean costs 15,00 € – please let reception know by 19:00 the day before.
To borrow (hand back at reception when you leave or leave in the room):

- Sauna towel: 2,00 €
- Extra duvet: 5,00 €
- Extra pillow: 2,50 €

To take home: pool slippers 1,50 €
In the Voithenberg building on the lower floor, laundry room by entrance 3. 5,00 € per wash (5 × 1,00 €), detergent is provided.
Your dog is welcome. 10,00 € per day and pet, food not included. A few rules:
- Please keep dogs on a lead in the hotel and on the grounds.
- The playground and sandpit are off limits for dogs.
- So are the restaurant and the wellness area, sorry.
- There's a dog toilet in front of the building.
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or at the children's playground. Anyone who does it anyway pays 200,00 €. Cannabis is banned in the hotel and on all of the grounds.
By the exit at room 116, with a charging station for e-bikes. 1,50 € per bike and night, access with your room card.
Please don't charge batteries of any kind (car, bike etc.) in your room.
You can hand in your holiday postcards at reception.

Five minutes from the hotel. The Perlsee circular trail is 6,5 km long (approx. 2,5 hours) and passes the “Räuberhöhle” playground, a viewing platform, a natural Kneipp pool, a water wheel and a herb trail. Easy to manage with kids.
